Troubleshooting

Common issues when setting up or using Twitter MCP.

• MCP not found: MCP not found: ensure x-mcp is on your PATH or use the full path in the client. Restart the client after changing the command.
• Connection failed: Connection failed: check that the API key is set (TWITTER_API_KEY or client args). For HTTP, ensure the server URL is correct and the key is configured in the client.
• Rate limit: Rate limit: reduce request frequency or upgrade your plan.
• Auth failed: Auth failed: verify your API key in the dashboard; for write operations, ensure login/cookie is configured if required.
